Embracing Multisite Platform with Dynamics 365 Portal

Embracing Multisite Platform with Dynamics 365 Portal

Here we are talking about one of our clients that offers interactive hardware accessories for audio devices and PC and console devices in 60+ countries under different brand names.

Requirements

The aim of having a Dynamics 365 Portal was to manage all their brands from a single platform. Due to huge libraries of sites and similar functionalities, they wanted to streamline the scope of sites. Thus, they needed a robust, multisite platform to provide an efficient digital experience to their customers. Since they have clients all over the world, they wanted to ensure that everyone can generate their own tickets in the language they prefer.

Solution

We built a Dynamics 365 Portal with a customer-centric main domain and sub-sites for each brand. It means they can manage all their brand’s activities from one login area. We connected an API to sync CRM with the portal and other websites. A single sign-on allows customers to access the shop store as well as the support portal with similar credentials. Apart from this, we offered multi-language support with multiple templates and themes to lend each website a new look resembling their brand and ensure they remain consistent under the same codebase.

With a single dashboard, they can administer all the websites, create templates, control permissions, email notifications, and manage tickets and solutions without affecting the codebase.

Result

They were able to manage their websites effectively and save a lot of time by migrating to a single platform. They could improve their customer experience with a self-service ticket generation module and multi-language email templates. Also their teams could autonomously administer and execute their digital experiences.

Why CRMJetty

Because we were able to provide the features such as multisite in Dynamics 365 portal that’s not available in PowerApps Portals. This helped our client knock down the license fee, handling cost, and resources designated to administer each platform. Most importantly, they have their peace of mind since they have to deal with one system.

Here’s a quick comparison of Dynamics 365 Customer Portal and PowerApps portals.
